To generate answers to your homework questions, we send the question text to one or more of the following AI providers:
Only the question text and necessary context are sent to these providers. Your name, email, and other personal account information are never shared with AI providers.
We transmit question text to these providers via their commercial API services for the purpose of generating AI responses. Each provider processes data according to their own API data usage policies, which are linked above. We cannot guarantee that AI providers will not use submitted data for model training or improvement purposes. We encourage you to review each provider's data handling practices. Note that DeepSeek and Alibaba Cloud (Qwen) are based in China and are subject to Chinese data protection laws, which differ significantly from United States law. Under China's National Intelligence Law (Article 7), Chinese organizations may be required to support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence work. By using the Service, you acknowledge that question text processed by China-based AI providers may be subject to access by Chinese government authorities under applicable Chinese law. If you have concerns about data being processed in China, please contact us at support@beekix.com to discuss available options.
Beekix may also use aggregated and anonymized usage data, including question patterns and AI response quality metrics, to improve our own service, optimize AI model routing, and potentially develop proprietary AI capabilities in the future.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), our AI providers function as service providers that process personal information on our behalf for the specific business purpose of generating AI-powered educational responses. We maintain contractual relationships with each provider governing data handling. However, each provider's own terms and policies also apply to data they receive. For details on how each provider handles data, please review the privacy policies linked above.
Payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives your payment card details directly and is an independent data controller for that payment information. We encourage you to review Stripe's privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any reason. We do not share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms. There are no third-party tracking scripts, analytics pixels, or ad networks on Beekix.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request. We will notify you of such requests when legally permitted to do so.
Beekix does not share, sell, disclose, or provide user data, account information, usage history, questions submitted, or AI-generated responses to any educational institution, university, college, school, instructor, professor, or learning management system. Beekix operates independently from educational institutions and maintains strict confidentiality of all user activity. Your educational institution has no access to your Beekix account, data, or usage patterns through Beekix.
If PraGlo Inc. undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such an event, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
While we implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable safeguards.
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users within seventy-two (72) hours of discovering the breach, in accordance with applicable state notification laws. Notification will be provided via email to the address associated with your account and, where appropriate, through a prominent notice on the Service.
Beekix operates primarily within the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where our servers and database are located. Data protection laws in the United States may differ from the laws in your country of residence.

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no universally accepted industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, Beekix does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising networks, or behavioral advertising technologies.

You can view your account information, study notebooks, saved questions, and AI responses at any time through the Beekix web dashboard. Log in at beekix.com/dashboard to access your data.
You can export your notebook data in CSV format directly from the dashboard. This allows you to keep a local copy of your study materials.
If you cancel your subscription, your account and all associated data (questions, notebooks, AI responses, and study materials) will remain stored on our servers. This allows you to reactivate your subscription and resume where you left off at any time. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data.
If you wish to have your data deleted, you must submit a separate data deletion request as described in Section 8.4 below.

After account deletion, some anonymized, aggregated data (such as total question counts) may be retained for internal analytics, but no personally identifiable information will remain.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Your data will be retained unless you separately request data deletion.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request that we restrict or cease certain types of data processing. To exercise this right, contact us at support@beekix.com. We will evaluate your request in accordance with applicable law and respond within forty-five (45) days. Please note that restricting certain processing may affect your ability to use the Service.
Beekix is designed for and marketed to college and university students. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Users between the ages of 16 and 17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under 16, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our systems and terminate the associated account. Because Beekix does not permit users under the age of 16, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which applies to services directed at children under 13, does not apply to our Service.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records maintained by educational institutions.
Beekix is a student-facing tool, not an institutional tool. We do not contract with schools, colleges, or universities to provide our Service. Students choose to use Beekix individually, on their own initiative, using their personal accounts.
Your use of Beekix is between you and Beekix alone. Your academic institution has no access to your Beekix account or data.
